A web and mobile platform for employee meal and benefit cards

For Up Slovensko

Overview

One platform where employers, employees and partners manage meal and benefit cards, used by more than 100,000 people a month.

The Challenge

A system people used every day, but found hard to use.

Up Slovensko runs meal vouchers, meal cards and employee benefit programmes for companies across Slovakia. Its platform for catering, motivation and remuneration of employees had been built without a focus on customer experience. Employers, cardholders and accepting partners all depended on it, and all found it hard to use.

The Solution

A complete redesign, built on validated user journeys.

We redesigned the frontend from scratch and developed the platform behind it. Before building, we validated the key user journeys for each audience, so the new experience follows how people actually use their cards. The result is one platform with separate zones for companies, employees and partners, available on web and mobile, and integrated with Up's core IT systems.
