What Data We Collect
Website Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. All data is aggregated and anonymous. No consent is required for this type of analytics under GDPR.
Campaign Measurement
On a small number of campaign landing pages, and on the Free Code Audit page, we ask for your consent to measure which advert or campaign brought you here. This runs through Google Tag Manager and is processed only on the basis of your consent. Nothing is loaded from Google, and no Google cookie is created, until you accept. If you reject, no data is sent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Details of every cookie involved are in our cookie policy.
Newsletter Subscription
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This data is processed based on your explicit consent and is used solely for sending our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
Contact and Inquiry Forms
When you contact us through forms on this website, we collect the information you provide (such as your name and email address). This data is processed based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and is retained only as long as necessary to handle your request.
Calculators and Assessment Tools
When you complete one of our online tools, such as the SaaS Check, we store the answers you gave and the result you were shown. This happens for every completed assessment, including when you do not tell us who you are, and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the tool is used and whether its results are accurate. Answers submitted this way are not linked to your identity unless you choose to give us your contact details on the result screen. If you do, we collect your first name, surname and email address on the basis of your consent, together with a record of the consent wording you accepted, the time you accepted it, your IP address and your browser user agent. All of it is stored in private object storage hosted on Vercel infrastructure in the European Union (CDG1 region). You can withdraw consent or request deletion at any time by emailing connect@meetbrackets.com.
Free Code Audit
When you request a Free Code Audit, we collect the details you submit: your name, email address, role, an optional message, a repository URL, and, if you choose to upload it, an archive of your codebase. This data is processed based on your consent. Consent records and any uploaded archive are stored in private object storage hosted on Vercel infrastructure in the European Union (CDG1 region). Uploaded archives are deleted after the audit is completed or on request; consent records are retained as needed to document your agreement. You can request deletion at any time by emailing connect@meetbrackets.com. Your code is treated as confidential. Access is limited to the BRACKETS team members carrying out the audit and to the AI coding assistants they use while doing so. Those assistants are Anthropic services, used under business plans on which your code is not used to train any model. The Terms and Conditions for this service are available here.
How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data exclusively for the purposes described above:
- To analyze website usage in aggregate (Plausible Analytics)
- To measure which campaign led to an enquiry, where you have consented to it
- To send newsletters to subscribers who have given consent
- To respond to inquiries submitted through contact forms
- To understand how our online tools are used, and to check that the results they give are accurate
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (newsletter subscriptions and marketing cookies)

Most of this website runs without cookies: Plausible Analytics is fully cookieless, and the only cookie we set on our own is the one that remembers your cookie choice. Marketing cookies exist on our campaign pages only, and only after you accept them. Our cookie policy lists each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime, and explains how to withdraw consent.

Some of the visual content on this website — including illustrations and images — has been created with the assistance of AI tools (Google Gemini, Claude, OpenAI). We use AI as part of our creative and production process.
AI-generated visuals may contain embedded metadata identifying their AI origin, including non-visible watermarks at the pixel level. We do not attempt to fully remove these. We believe in being transparent about our use of AI — it is a deliberate part of how we work, not something we hide.
AI tools are used in two places: the content creation workflow described above, and the Free Code Audit. The BRACKETS team members carrying out an audit use AI coding assistants on the code you submit, and that code can contain personal data, for example in comments, commit metadata or test fixtures. Those assistants are Anthropic services, used under business plans on which your code is not used to train any model.
